Elgin Art Deco Watch
This Elgin was produced in 1929 a
period when Art deco ruled. The dial,
case, and enameled bezel solidify this
as a classic Deco piece. Very few of
these around especially in this condition.

Elgin Watches
Originally established as
National Watch Company in
Illinois in the 1860's, Elgin
factories made
some early high grade and
interesting wrist watches,
some with classic styling.
The BW Raymond, named
for one of the original
founders, is a favorite of
collectors worldwide.  Using
fine materials like 14k solid
gold and platinum, elgin
watches became a status
symbol, and the  vintage
watches still are.  Elgin is
also famous for the Lord
Elgin and Lady Elgin lines.
The Elgin brand was sold in
the 60s and Elgin watches
made today have no
connection with the original
vintage watches.
